Perhaps a familiar face for some as a member of the London Symphony Orchestra, the Belgian violinst Alix Lagasse surveys two centuries of music ranging from the delicate classicism of the Mozart’s sonata through the rich and rhapsodic music of Brahms to Wienawski’s response to the music from Gounod’s opera a virtuoso tour-de-force.
